Dixiana is the stretch of eastern Lexington County between Cayce, Pine Ridge, and South Congaree, down toward the Congaree River bottom. It is a quieter corner of the county, more rural than the airport side, with homes spread along the back roads and a good bit of low, wooded land around them. People here are close enough to Cayce and the river for everyday errands but far enough out to keep some elbow room, which is most of the appeal.
